There are 15 days left until the deadline for the SDG terrorist organization to disband and integrate into the Syrian army. As the process is delayed, Syria is preparing to deploy an army of 80,000 to the region, while President Erdoğan warned today at an event that "the March 10 Agreement must be implemented."
Turkey is closely monitoring developments regarding the future of the SDF, which it sees as an extension of a terrorist organization in Syria. Security sources reported that the SDF will integrate into the Syrian army by the end of the year, indicating that Turkey has taken a clear stance on this issue.
Sources stated, "As Turkey, we say, 'You will disband as an organization, and you will integrate into the army as individuals. You will no longer act as a single organization.' This is our condition. We absolutely do not accept the upper management of the SDF being part of the Damascus government."
TURKEY WILL SUPPORT THE SYRIAN ARMY'S OPERATION Security sources, recalling the March 10 agreement, stated that if the conditions are not met, the Syrian government could conduct operations for the integrity of the country, and Turkey would support this.
ERDOGAN: THE MARCH 10 AGREEMENT MUST BE FOLLOWED President Erdogan also delivered a striking message today at the "16th Ambassadors Conference" held at the Beştepe National Exhibition Hall in Ankara.
Erdogan stated, "The March 10 Agreement must be implemented. Israel's attacks are an obstacle in front of Syria. It is clear who will benefit from the fragmentation of Syria."
MINISTER GULER: WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY TERRORIST ORGANIZATION National Defense Minister Güler also issued a notable warning regarding the terrorist organization SDF in Syria. Yaşar Güler said, "In order for the process to proceed healthily, the PKK and all affiliated groups must immediately cease their terrorist activities in all regions they are located, especially in Syria, in accordance with the dissolution decision and unconditionally surrender their weapons."
Güler emphasized that in order to permanently establish the goal of a "terror-free Turkey," the armed elements in Syria must quickly integrate into the central government, stating, "We expect the organization to complete this transformation without delay, taking into account the calls for disarmament and integration from within. We will not allow the continuation of any terrorist organization that threatens the peace in the region, regardless of the name it operates under." Güler added, "Recent statements and analyses in the international media indicate that the YPG-SDF terrorist organization is being used as an apparatus by regional actors to prepare the ground for new geopolitical engineering. This situation poses a direct threat not only to Syria but also to Turkey's national security."
AN ARMY OF 80,000 WILL BE SENT TO THE REGION Meanwhile, according to information obtained from security units, the Syrian army has completed its preparations for a comprehensive operation as the deadline for the PKK-SDF structure approaches. It is planned to deploy 7 divisions and approximately 80,000 soldiers in this regard. It has been noted that this number may increase further depending on developments, and that heavy weapons, as well as drones, helicopters, and fighter jets, will be used in the operation. Surveillance drone flights have been intensified in the Deir ez-Zor, Tishrin-Karakozak, Tabqa, Halsa, Ayn Issa, and Raqqa fronts, and the locations of the advance units have been determined.
