Peshmerga forces began entering the Syria’s war-torn city of Kobani on Friday night. Peshmerga, common name of the soldiers of Northern Kurdish regional government, is expected to join the battle against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) besieging the town, activists said.
Meanwhile, it is not known exactly how many Peshmerga fighters have entered to Kobani until now.
Turkish Special Police Units have taken tight security measures across the Mürşitpınar Border Gate. Along it has been seen that many heavy machine guns, Katyushe rockets and howitzer were carried without covering with any material.
Developments will be followed.
