The incident occurred last Monday at the Historical Bedesten Bazaar. Two of the three veiled women who came to the jeweler asked the shop owner about the prices of gold bracelets. Meanwhile, the third woman took the tray filled with rings from the display and hid it under her veil. As the women left the store as if nothing had happened, the jeweler, who noticed the missing items after a while, reviewed the security camera footage. The shop owner, who watched the moment of the theft, reported the situation to the police.
POLICE ARE AFTER THE SUSPECTS
Upon receiving the tip-off, the teams from the Konya Police Department's Public Order Branch initiated an operation to capture the three identified female suspects. The security camera recordings clearly showed the moments when one of the women secretly placed the ring tray under her veil and exited.
