PM Davutoğlu Protested In New York

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu who is on a visit to hold some official talks in New York was protested by a group of people on Thursday.

When he arrived at the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR), people holding photos of Mustafa Kemal Ataürk and Turkish flags protested Davutoğlu in front of the building.

Group shouted slogans against the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party). “You are thief”, “You collapsed country”, “You are traitors” and “You will be tired at supreme court” when Davutoğlu got out of CFR building. After shouting slogans people left the area in silence.

Police had taken Davutoğlu from a different entrance of the building so that he could not see the protesting group.
