Police Intervened In Protestors With Tomas In METU

Anti-riot police intervened to the protesting student group when they attempted to walk to Presidential Palace of Turkey which called White Palace (AkSaray). During the walking attempt, protesters responded police with fireworks while police trying to security with anti-riot water cannon vehicle (TOMA).
The group gathering for Aziz Güler, who died in Syria as fighting towards Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) and whose body is not allowed to be buried in Turkey, attempted to walk to the Presidential Palace of Turkey from Middle East Technical University (METU)
Holding security measures at the scene, riot police warned the crowd not to walk at first. But then, police intervened in with pressurized water sprayed from TOMA vehicles to the protestors who insisted on to walk.
Protesters who showed resistance to detentions, responded police with fireworks and brawl occurred between the group and policemen.
