Police Officer Killed İn Egypt's Suez

An Egyptian officer was killed in a bomb blast in the canal city of Suez on Thursday, a security source has said.



The blast went off near a security facility in the city, the source told The Anadolu Agency.



Earlier Wednesday, at least 29 people were killed and 47 others injured in multiple attacks that targeted military and security sites in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.



Egypt has been dogged by turmoil since the army unseated elected President Mohamed Morsi in mid-2013 following massive protests against his administration.
