A police conscript was killed and three others were injured in a drive-by shooting Wednesday on Niger's embassy in Cairo, the interior ministry said.
Militants opened fire on police forces guarding the embassy, killing a police conscript and injuring three others, including a security guard, the ministry said in a statement.
The attackers had fled the scene unscathed after the attack, the statement added.
There has been no claim of responsibility.
