The Great Victory, won with the love of our heroic army for the homeland and the united will of our nation, has broken the chains of captivity and opened the way to our independence; the foundations of our Republic were laid after this unique victory.
August 30 is not only a military victory but also the certification of our nation's resurrection, its struggle for existence, and its eternal independence.
"THE TURKISH NATION HAS ONCE AGAIN ANNOUNCED TO THE WORLD THAT IT WILL NOT ACCEPT CAPTIVITY"
