Protests Continue In Hong Kong On Chinese National Day

Thousands of pro-democracy protesters took to the streets on Chinese National Day, anniversary of the Republic of China.

The protests which began at the weekend continue with more and more people. The demonstrators, majority of whom are university students, are against restrictions on voting set by Beijing in advance of Hong Kong’s 2017 election.

According to Chinese media the number of the protesters may exceed 100,000in coming days.
