The pet dog died two days later. Afterwards, our district agricultural directorate took a sample and sent it to Adana. Tests revealed a rabies case. We know that the dog diagnosed with rabies has been lime-treated and buried. Currently, our district agricultural directorate is making intense efforts following this. No other rabies cases have been detected in our neighborhood, and there is no cause for concern. Our citizens should be reassured and not be afraid. Everything is under the control of our district agricultural veterinarians. There is no need for panic in our neighborhood; it does not pose a danger at the moment. We kindly ask our citizens not to come into contact with stray dogs. We recommend that they keep a little distance as a precaution. Vaccination for cats and dogs was carried out as of yesterday," he said.
