A car bomb in the western Syrian town of Homs Friday has killed 30 people, the Syrian Revolution General Council stated.
The car bomb exploded while worshipers were leaving a local mosque in Homs after Friday's traditional noon prayers, according to the council's statement.
Over 100,000 people have been killed during the ongoing three-year conflict in Syria, which has also internally displaced more than 6.5 million people, according to the UN.
More than two million Syrians are now registered as refugees in neighboring countries, such as Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq.
