In the bribery case against CHP municipalities, crime organization leader Aziz İhsan Aktaş described the dirty money traffic. Aktaş claimed that they paid bribes to receive payments and that they sent the money in a kunefe box.
The trial of the "Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization" case, in which the CHP mayor is also being tried, continues with 200 defendants. Yesterday, Aziz İhsan Aktaş, who made a defense statement, claimed that his commercial activities were portrayed as crimes and alleged that he had given bribes to receive payments from municipalities.
HE RESPONDED TO THE ACCUSERS
During the hearing, Aziz İhsan Aktaş made his defense for the first time. He responded to those who called his statements 'slander' by saying: "I stated when, to whom, and through whom I gave the money. The HTS and BAZ records of those who received the money matched with what I said. What more should I do? Should I take the serial numbers of the money?" Aktaş noted that Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat requested his brother to buy 2 cars for the municipality for payment, and said, "Money was sent to a third party's account for the wedding of Deputy Mayor Alican Abacı, and a luxury vehicle was purchased."
"WE GAVE 16 VEHICLES"
Stating that the election expenses of Avcılar Mayor Utku Caner Çaykara were paid by his brothers, Aktaş said, "We gave 5.5 million TL and 16 vehicles. In July 2024, I gave 1 million lira to Celal Tekin, representing Seyhan Mayor Oya Tekin. I carried the money in a kunefe box."
