At least 80 Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL, militants were reported to have been killed by Euphrates Volcano Joint Operations Center across Syria in the last 24 hours.
The Euphrates Volcano is an umbrella coalition - composed of several Syrian opposition groups such as the moderate Raqqa's Revolutionaries Brigades and the al-Qasas Army - that is fighting President Bashar al-Assad. It is also battling ISIL.
According to a written statement issued by the group, the fighters also destroyed five vehicles belonging to ISIL militants.
Also included in the Euphrates Volcano group, the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party - linked to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, which operates in Turkey - is currently battling ISIL militants in the besieged border town of Kobani since mid-September.
The Euphrates Volcano fighters are said to be struggling to regain several Syrian areas including Raqqa, Menbec, Jarablus and Sarain from the militant group.
ISIL controls large swathes of territories in Syria and Iraq, and have declared what they call a "caliphate" which has not been recognized by the international community.
Syria has been gripped by a violent internal conflict since March 2011, which killed more than 190,000 and displaced millions others.
