A shadowy group has claimed responsibility for a Wednesday bomb blast that injured ten people near Cairo University west of the Egyptian capital.
The Agnad Masr ("Egypt's Soldiers") said on Twitter that the attack was "in revenge for the killing and harassment of university students".
Ten people, including six policemen, were injured when a bomb went off near Cairo University on Wednesday.
"Six policemen and four other people were moderately injured by the blast, which went off in Nahda Square near Cairo University," the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
The Agnad Masr had claimed responsibility for a similar bombing near Cairo University in April that killed a senior police officer and injured five others.
