Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) President Derviş Eroğlu who has just returned from the US after having meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, said on Thursday that special negotiators will go to South Africa to meet with the officials who managed to end a long-lasting bloody conflict with a single agreement.
Derviş Eroğlu held a press conference at the Ercan airport in KKTC capital Nicosia to evaluate results of his visit. Eroğlu said that "scanning the problem" phase is over and now they are preparing to pass to the next step which includes core subjects. The president also added that after this phase a well prepared-program is necessary for finding the final solution for reunification of the Mediterranean island.
