Fenerbahçe Vice President Murat Salar made statements regarding current issues. Speaking about the transfer of Ademola Lookman, Salar said, "Atalanta requested a guarantee letter for the Lookman transfer. Fenerbahçe has never provided or received a guarantee letter throughout its history. Which bank's reputation is higher than that of the 120-year-old Fenerbahçe club? We argued that Fenerbahçe's reputation is greater than that piece of paper."
Fenerbahçe Vice President Murat Salar made striking statements regarding the agenda on FB TV. Salar also spoke about the transfer period.
'FENERBAHÇE HAS NEVER ISSUED A LETTER OF GUARANTEE IN ITS HISTORY'
Speaking about the failed transfer of Ademola Lookman, Murat Salar stated that they were asked for a letter of guarantee, saying, 'Atalanta club requested a letter of guarantee for the Lookman transfer. Fenerbahçe has never issued a letter of guarantee in its history, nor has it received one. Which bank's reputation is higher than that of the 120-year-old Fenerbahçe club? We argued that Fenerbahçe's reputation is worth more than that paper. We transferred players from Manchester United and PSG. We did not provide a letter of guarantee to any of them. Fenerbahçe club has made and will make transfers without a letter of guarantee. It is unacceptable for another Italian club to request a letter of guarantee where Lazio did not.' he said.
'WHAT MORE DO WE NEED TO EXPLAIN?'
Continuing his remarks, Murat Salar said, "The transfer fees of all licensed players of Fenerbahçe have been paid as Fenerbahçe Sports Club, and they continue to be paid. I do not know what these discussions are based on or who they come from. When you say something, you need to provide a source. I made a statement at the High Advisory Board, our payments were 230 million euros. It has risen to 250 million euros. If you have an objection, you can check the income. Murat Salar also stated, "There is no situation regarding the termination of the future Passolig agreement. This is clearly a lie that has been stated."
