Stormy Weather Claims Two Lives In Southwest France

Violent storms overnight killed two people and injured several others in southwest France, according to local reports on Tuesday.
A 29-year-old woman died in the town of Montbeton after a tree was uprooted by strong winds fell on her vehicle. Four other people were wounded, two of them seriously.
The second victim was a Bulgarian truck driver. He was struck by lightning in a parking lot in Charente.
Besides, storms which hit France's southwestern region caused power shortage in 87,000 homes. Torrential rains and strong winds also disrupted train networks and air traffic at Toulouse airport. (Cihan/Xinhua)
