Suspicious Package Detonated With Fuse On Bitlis

A suspicious package left on the Batarya junction, located in up and down roads crossing behind Bitlis Office of Mufti and Bitlis Provincial Security Directorate, caused panic. After the road being closed to traffic, the package was exploded with fuse.
A suspicious package was noticed by police riots, on Batarya junction located in a place 250 meters away from Bitlis Provincial Security Directorate in the early hours of morning. In case being a bomb in the package, riot police, who closed to traffic Bitlis-Tatvan highway bipartitely, called bomb squad to the scene immediately. Arriving at the scene, bomb squad detonated the package after taking tight measures around.
Bitlis-Tatvan highway, where long car traffic exists, was opened to traffic following being detonated of package with fuse and investigations held in scene.
