Tajikistan To Hold Meeting Of SCO Inter-Bank Association's Council

The 10th meeting of the Council of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Inter-bank Association (SCO IBA) will be held in Tajikistan.



The meeting will be held in September, 2014 in Dushanbe on the eve of the summit of the heads of organization member states, CA-NEWS reported referring to Tajik State Savings Bank "Amonatbonk".



"Amonatbonk" at the forthcoming meeting will pass its chairmanship in SCO IBA to Russia's "Vnesheconombank".



Tajikistan hosted a meeting of association member banks' coordinators and senior officials on April 17-18.



The issues of cooperation between the association and the SCO secretariat were discussed during the meeting.



In particular, the cooperation between the structural units of the SCO member states on the exchange of information on the potential investment projects, have been discussed.



The further plans on strengthening the financial cooperation and promoting regional development in the framework of SCO IBA have been also agreed upon.



The plans will be submitted for signing at the September's meeting after their approval by the respective ministries of SCO member-states.
