In İlkadım, Samsun, a 19-year-old suspect assaulted a 60-year-old man fishing on the beach, saying, "You haven't caught a fish for 2 hours," and then threw him into the sea. Afterward, he took the man's driver's license, bank card, and jacket and fled. The same day, the suspect, who went to the courthouse for questioning, also damaged the boards and signs there and was subsequently caught and arrested.

A 19-year-old named Umutcan Baysal, who was wandering on the beach in the Kale neighborhood of the İlkadım district in Samsun, assaulted a 60-year-old man, M.K.A., by saying, "You haven't caught a fish for 2 hours."
