The incident occurred at C Block, Demirtaş 4 Site in the Limonlu neighborhood. Colleagues who had not heard from Dr. Osman Aydın for a long time tried to reach him by phone. When Aydın did not answer his phone, the situation was reported to the site staff. The staff member who entered the apartment from the balcony found Aydın lying motionless on the kitchen floor.
Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. An examination revealed that Aydın had passed away. Neighbors and colleagues who received the news of his death were brought to tears.
It was learned that Dr. Osman Aydın, who was single, was sent to the Mersin Forensic Medicine Institution to determine the exact cause of death.
