In the video, Minister Kacır explained that artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing the global economy and technology, saying, "As the Ministry of Industry and Technology, our goal is not just to observe this transformation but to actively shape it. The steps we have taken in our artificial intelligence strategy are extremely concrete. First; we are establishing our infrastructure. We are rapidly implementing the computing infrastructure needed to develop large-scale artificial intelligence models with high processing power. With the projects and supports we will carry out, we will increase our data center investments, which are currently at the level of 250 megawatts, to 1 gigawatt by 2030. We will establish data center regions with a secure and uninterrupted energy infrastructure where investments exceeding 10 billion dollars will be realized. Second; we are developing our own Large Language Model. We are building a Turkish Large Language Model that will directly add value to our economy in collaboration with our private sector and academia," he said.

MINISTER KACIR EMPHASIZED 2030

Highlighting that they are strengthening human resources as the third step, Kacır stated, "We are expanding expertise training in the field of artificial intelligence, preparing our employees for the transformation of professions. With the Artificial Intelligence Fund, we aim to grow domestic artificial intelligence initiatives. Under the leadership of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our goal is to make Turkey one of the world's largest artificial intelligence economies by 2030."

Minister Kacır also expressed his gratitude to the domestic initiative that prepared the video using open-source, multimodal generative artificial intelligence.
