The most profitable companies in the automotive sector, which has become a branch of global trade wars, have been revealed. According to the latest data, China's BYD surpassed the American electric vehicle giant Tesla by achieving record annual revenue in 2024.

The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer generated 777.1 billion yuan (107.2 billion dollars) in revenue in 2024, surpassing Tesla's reported revenue of 97.7 billion dollars last year. Thus, the Shenzhen-based company outpaced its competitor Tesla.
