A passenger bus on the Ankara-Bolu highway narrowly escaped disaster. The vehicle, which quickly caught fire, was evacuated and 13 people were rescued. These images are all that remain from the fire.

IGNITED WHILE IN MOTION

The incident occurred around 9:00 PM. Smoke started to rise from the bus for reasons that have yet to be determined. The smoke quickly turned into flames. The driver immediately stopped the vehicle upon noticing the situation.

13 PEOPLE EVACUATED FROM THE BUS

Upon receiving the report, fire, health, and gendarmerie teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. A total of 13 people, including 10 passengers and 3 staff members, were evacuated without any injuries.

THE BUS BECAME UNUSABLE

The fire brigade, which arrived at the scene quickly, managed to bring the fire under control. However, the bus, which was engulfed in flames, turned into a pile of scrap. The only consolation in this unfortunate incident was that there were no injuries or fatalities. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
