The Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) have extended the deadline for distributors for the LPG Cylinder Tracking System, which will monitor the process of LPG cylinders from filling to the end consumer.
Changes have been made to the regulation regarding the tracking of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders in the market.
The relevant communiqué of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Energy Market Regulatory Authority has been published in the Official Gazette.
THE COMMUNIQUÉ WILL ENTER INTO FORCE ON JANUARY 1
Accordingly, distributors will be required to establish a tracking system for LPG cylinders by December 31, 2027. The communiqué will enter into force on January 1.
