The MHP has nominated Istanbul Deputy Celal Adan as the Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the second term of the 28th Legislative Period, and Gaziantep Deputy Sermet Atay as the Administrative Officer of the Grand National Assembly.

Political parties will determine their candidates for the Presidency of the Assembly. The presidential election will take place on June 3. In addition to the Presidency of the Assembly, political parties will also determine the Deputy Speakers of the Assembly, members of the Assembly Presidency Board, and group managements during this process.

In the third round, a simple majority of 301 votes will be sufficient. The candidate of the People's Alliance is expected to be elected in the third round with certainty.
