Doğuş Derya continued her remarks; "Until today, not a single nightclub owner has been punished for prostitution. Why? If prostitution is banned in this country, how is it that a nightclub owner does not receive any punishment regarding this? Nightclub owners say we do not engage in prostitution. They claim that girls live like princesses in our nightclubs, spreading a lot of lies. They would call and threaten in between. We invited them to the parliament one day, and I personally asked them many questions. How many hours a day do you make a woman work? Let me tell you the answer given by the nightclub owners. It varies according to the woman. Sometimes they take the customer at 8:00 AM and bring them back at 6:00 PM. So, 10 hours. After that, she eats her meal, takes a shower. The consumption starts at 8:00 PM and goes until 1:00 AM. After that, if there is a customer, they are taken out with the help of what I would call a guard.
"THE STATE CONFISCATES THEIR PASSPORTS"
Because I do not want to use that profane word. They are sent to hotels with them and are made to work 24 hours. When I asked what the payment for these people is, I was told that if they are young, they are expensive, and if they are old, they are cheap. When I asked how old is considered old, the answer was 23-24. Because sometimes, including cases I have seen myself, people under the age of 18 are also brought in and made to engage in sexual slavery. This is done by the state confiscating their passports.
