In the 4.2 magnitude earthquake centered in the Gemlik district of Bursa, citizens fleeing from stores and buildings in panic in the Orhangazi district were captured on security cameras.
According to the information provided by the AFAD Earthquake Department, the first earthquake occurred at 11:47 with a magnitude of 3.9 centered in Gemlik, and the second earthquake occurred at 12:57 with a magnitude of 4.2. The earthquake was felt not only in Gemlik district but also in other districts and the center.
EARTHQUAKE PANIC ON CAMERA
The moments when citizens in Orhangazi district felt the earthquake and fled from the buildings and the business center were captured by security cameras second by second. Employees working in a bakery in Orhangazi were also seen rushing outside in panic. A person counting in a warehouse also rushed outside as soon as he felt the earthquake.
In Gemlik district, a clothing sales store lowered its shutters halfway. The Bursa Governorship reported that there were no negative incidents following the two earthquakes.
