In Çorum, a 76-year-old woman was found dead at home with her body burned, after her husband returned from the evening prayer. Eight stab wounds were detected on the elderly woman's body. Investigations revealed that three gold bracelets on the woman's arm and a certain amount of gold in the house had been stolen, and it was determined that an attempt was made to set the house on fire after she was stabbed.
A horrifying brutality occurred in Akkise village, located in the Kargı district of Çorum. Eşref Kış found the burned body of his wife, Hatice Kış (76), when he returned home from the mosque after the evening prayer. Upon his notification, gendarmerie and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
THEY STOLE THE GOLD AND SET IT ON FIRE
Investigations conducted by the teams that arrived at the scene revealed that Kış had suffered 8 stab wounds. Kış's body was taken to the morgue for autopsy procedures. The examinations revealed that 3 gold bracelets on Hatice Kış's arm and a certain amount of gold in the house had been stolen, and it was determined that the woman was stabbed and then an attempt was made to set her and the house on fire. Teams have initiated efforts to capture the robbers who committed the crime.
