The fruit juice producer DİMES announced on the social networking platform LinkedIn that the company's General Manager responsible for Production and Technical Operations, Cem Kurt (50), has passed away. No official statement has yet been made regarding the cause of Kurt's death.
Cem Kurt's funeral was held yesterday after the afternoon prayer at Şakirin Mosque in Üsküdar, Istanbul, and he was buried at Karacaahmet Cemetery.

DİMES expressed in their condolence message: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved colleague, Cem Kurt, who made significant contributions to our company and industry, and served as our General Manager responsible for Production and Technical Operations. We pray for the deceased and wish patience to his family and all his loved ones; we will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace."
WHO IS DİMES GENERAL MANAGER CEM KURT?
Cem Kurt, who has been serving as the General Manager of DİMES A.Ş. for approximately 2.5 years, previously held senior positions at companies such as Doğanay as CEO, Tamek, Danone, and UNO Unmaş (Yıldız Holding).
Cem Kurt, a graduate of Ankara Atatürk High School and the Food Engineering Department of Ankara University, completed his master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and International Marketing. Throughout his career, he held positions as General Manager and CEO in many food and beverage giants.
Since 2015, Cem Kurt has been a board member of the MEYED Fruit Juice Industry Association, and he was married with two children.
