Due to the Kurban Bayram holiday, vacationers who set off early to go to their hometowns created long vehicle queues at the intersection of the North Marmara Highway and the Anatolian Highway in Sakarya. Traffic congestion was also experienced at the Bolu crossing of the TEM Highway. At the Bolu Mountain Tunnel and Köroğlu Ramps area of the highway, traffic came to a standstill at times.

TEAMS HAVE INCREASED THEIR INSPECTIONS
Meanwhile, under the coordination of the Sakarya Governorship, teams affiliated with the Provincial Police Department and the Provincial Gendarmerie Command have increased their inspections throughout the city as part of the measures taken for the holiday. The teams have implemented strict measures, especially for traffic safety and many other points. A total of 649 teams and 3,570 personnel from the police and gendarmerie have been assigned throughout the city during the Eid al-Adha period.
