The call text of the terrorist organization PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan was shared with the public; a photo of Öcalan along with the 7-member Dem Party delegation was also published. It became clear who the individuals outside the delegation in the photo were.
The process initiated by MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's call for the terrorist organization PKK to lay down its arms and be dissolved has led the DEM Party delegation to visit Abdullah Öcalan for the third time in İmralı. After the visit, the delegation conveyed Öcalan's message to the public.
In his message, Öcalan called for the terrorist organization PKK to lay down its arms and dissolve itself; a photo of the 7-member DEM Party delegation alongside Öcalan was also published. The identities of the individuals outside the delegation in the photo became a matter of curiosity.
WHO THEY ARE REVEALED
Journalist İsmail Saymaz, during a live broadcast, revealed the identities of the 3 individuals outside the delegation in the photo, which included a total of 11 people. Saymaz stated that these three individuals are PKK convicts remaining in İmralı.
WHO ARE THE OTHER INMATES IN İMRALI?
Since 1999, Abdullah Öcalan, who has been on İmralı Island, requested that five PKK convicts from different prisons be sent to him in 2015.
The mentioned PKK convicts are Ömer Hayri Konar, Çetin Arkaş, Nasrullah Kuran, Sait Yıldırım, and Veysi Aktaş; it is known that Sait Yıldırım was transferred to Bursa Prison shortly after arriving due to a heart attack, and in his place, Hamili Yıldırım was sent to İmralı Island on July 15, 2015.
