A 11-year-old girl student in the Kozan district of Adana lost her life after being hit by a school service minibus, which was a result of a joke made by her friend who pushed her.
FRIEND PUSHED HER AS A JOKE
The accident occurred next to Şehit Ziya Özkozanoğlu Middle School on Andaç Street in the Çanaklı neighborhood of the district. According to reports, Gazel Alsheıkm, an 11-year-old 5th-grade student, was pushed as a joke by a friend while leaving school and heading home.
THE SERVICE MINIBUS TOOK THE LITTLE GIRL AWAY FROM LIFE
Gazel was hit by a student service minibus with license plate 01 ADL 295, driven by A.B. (44), which was leaving the school. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that the little girl had lost her life. While police teams interviewed witnesses at the scene, the driver of the service minibus was also taken into custody.
FATHER HELD HIS DAUGHTER'S HAND AND CRIED
Upon receiving the tragic news, Gazel's family arrived at the scene and wept. Father Bassen Alsheıkm cried for a long time while holding his lifeless daughter's hand. Medical teams intervened with the family, who were calmed down by their relatives. After the prosecutor and police conducted an investigation at the scene, the little girl's body was taken to the hospital morgue. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
