A driver identified as S.O., who was trying to gain priority in traffic with a vehicle equipped with a siren and claimed to be "the governor's nephew," has been apprehended in Sarıyer. The driver was fined 146,134 TL, and both their driver's license and vehicle were suspended from traffic for 30 days. Istanbul Governor Davut Gül also stated that the individual is not the governor's nephew and that the necessary legal actions have been taken.

A person who reacted to a driver due to their vehicle with flashing lights was caught after saying "I am the governor's nephew." The driver was fined 146,134 TL, and their license was temporarily revoked for 30 days. Furthermore, it was learned that the driver is not the nephew of Istanbul Governor Davut Gül.

The person driving in the Ayazağa participation area on Cendere Street in Sarıyer distanced themselves after the driver they tried to cut off reacted. A person next to the driver recorded the moments with a mobile phone camera. After the footage was published on social media, the Virtual Traffic Patrol teams of the Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch took action.
