The body of 68-year-old retired police officer I.A., who left a farewell note at his home in Amasya, was found in the Yeşilırmak River. In the incident where his son identified his father in tears, it was learned that I.A. had left a note saying, "I am going."
The lifeless body of a retired police officer, who left a farewell note at his home in Amasya, was found in the Yeşilırmak River. According to the information obtained, citizens who saw the body in the middle of the Yeşilırmak River near the Ataşehir Site in the 55 Evler neighborhood reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Firefighters, police, emergency medical services, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams that entered the water retrieved the motionless body to the shore. Upon examination, it was determined that the body belonged to I.A. (68), a retired police officer who had been married and was a father of two children, 20 years ago.

The words of E.A., the son who identified his father's body in tears, "My mom asked me to follow my dad when she read the note," touched hearts. The elderly man's body, which he left a note saying "I am leaving," was taken to the hospital morgue after the examination. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
