Following President Tayyip Erdoğan's announcement that he has assigned the task of working on a new constitution, a noteworthy evaluation came from the New Welfare Party, led by Fatih Erbakan.

Vice President of the New Welfare Party, Suat Kılıç, stated, "If there is a constitutional amendment work that considers not the upcoming elections of Turkey but the future generations, we will certainly not withhold our support. However, if they come to us with a package that aims to leave the next presidential elections behind in more comfortable conditions and includes changes that the general layers of society in Turkey will not adopt, we cannot provide unconditional support for that either."

Vice President of the New Welfare Party, Suat Kılıç, made important statements after the party's Weekly Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting. Kılıç made statements regarding new constitutional studies, the dissolution process of the PKK, the 10th Judicial Package, retirement bonuses, minimum wage, and developments in foreign policy.

"WE WILL SUPPORT A CONSTITUTION THAT REFLECTS THE CONSCIENCE AND VOTE OF THE SOCIETY"

Kılıç spoke about President Erdoğan's call for a new constitution. Emphasizing that the government needs to present a detailed vision, Kılıç said, "Mr. President does not specify in which framework or according to which needs the new constitution will be made. When the ruling party's views on this issue emerge, if there is indeed a constitutional amendment work that considers not the upcoming elections of Turkey but the future generations, we will certainly not withhold our support. However, if they come to us with a package that aims to leave the next presidential elections behind in more comfortable conditions and includes changes that the general layers of society in Turkey will not adopt, we cannot provide unconditional support for that either. The fundamental issue is societal consensus. We will support a constitution that reflects the conscience and vote of the society; we will not support a constitution that will shake the society," he said.

"UNTIL ALL TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS ARE DISBANDED."

Kılıç also addressed the dissolution process of the terrorist organization PKK, stating that the process should be conducted transparently. He noted, "When entering the dissolution process of the PKK, it was said to be 'unconditional and without conditions.' Weapons would be laid down and handed over to the state. Now the dissolution decision has been expressed, but conditions have started to be put forward afterward. Therefore, we say do not leave these discussions behind closed doors; you cannot find witnesses to what you have done. Share these with us. We do not know what the DEM Party members are saying, we do not know what the government thinks. If Mr. President is not going to hold a leaders' summit, then the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Interior, the Minister of Justice, and the Head of MIT should inform us. We need to know what is happening so that we can support without hesitation. The release and freedom of terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan is not possible under any circumstances. No one has raised the issue of the right to hope anymore. Who will protect the rights of our police, soldiers, village guards, martyrs, and martyr families? We have always said that the PKK is a branch of terrorism. Its factory and roof is the KCK. Without the KCK disbanding itself, and without disbanding the PYD, YPG, and PEJAK, the disbandment of the PKK is merely the disbandment of one branch of terrorism. They have come to the point we have stated. The PKK supposedly made a dissolution decision last week. If the KCK is demanding freedom for terrorist leader Öcalan, terrorism will not end until all terrorist organizations are disbanded. Our wish is, of course, for a Turkey without terrorism, for a Syria without terrorism, and for Iraq and Iran to be protected from terrorism. As long as there are terrorist organizations in the region, it is impossible for Turkey to be free from terrorism," he stated.

"NOBODY KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE PROCESS"

Kılıç reiterated his call to President Erdoğan, stating, "We are repeating the call we made last week: Mr. President should hold a leaders' summit before the holiday and provide firsthand information to the leaders of the parties represented in the Parliament. It is not possible for us to contribute to this process with the information provided through indirect statements from İmralı and the approaches presented by the DEM Party delegation. İmralı knows what will happen, Mr. Bahçeli knows, the government knows, the DEM Party knows; outside of that, nobody knows what will happen," he said.

10TH JUDICIAL PACKAGE

Kılıç drew attention to the 10th Judicial Package expected to be presented to the Parliament, stating, "Another issue related to the process of a Turkey without terrorism is the 10th Judicial Package expected to be presented to the Parliament: Will this package provide a reduction in sentences for the killers of soldiers, police, and village guards, or not? What is hoped for with the double holiday expectation prevailing in the circles of the terrorist organization? They know, we do not know. Who will forgive whom? Yasin Börü was murdered on a holiday. May Allah grant him paradise. The upcoming holiday is the Feast of Sacrifice; who will it be a holiday for? Which crimes will fall under the amnesty? How and why will terrorists benefit from the sentence reduction? Minister of Justice Mr. Yılmaz Tunç should visit the parties represented in the Parliament and inform them. Because the issue of amnesty is not a matter to be taken lightly," he said.

"WE MUST BE CAUTIOUS AGAINST THE TRAPS OF THOSE WHO SET GAMES WITHIN GAMES"

Evaluating the possible effects of the PKK's dissolution on Turkey's security policies, Kılıç stated, "The PKK is on the list of international terrorist organizations. The PYD/YPG is the organization legitimized by the US and Europe under the name of the SDF, that is, the Syrian Democratic Forces. We draw the government's attention: After the PKK disbands itself, Turkey may no longer have a legitimate justification for cross-border operations. It is our duty to be cautious against the traps of those who set games within games," he said.

SUGGESTION FOR HOLIDAY FOR RETIREES

Kılıç also drew attention to the economic difficulties faced by retirees before the upcoming Feast of Sacrifice, stating: "We are approaching the Feast of Sacrifice. When the first holiday bonus was given to retirees, it was equivalent to the price of a sacrifice. According to the data from the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the first holiday bonus was given to retirees in 2018. The bonus was 1000 TL. In the same year, the price of a sacrifice share from the Religious Affairs was 850 TL. Now, a bonus does not even cover a quarter of a sacrifice. We urgently call for: The conditions should be eased, and the holiday bonus for retirees should be equal to the price of a small sacrifice. Additionally, a flat salary increase should be given to our retirees in July. Furthermore, the inflation difference in the minimum wage, effective from July, should also be compensated for the loss of purchasing power. The cost of poor management should not be borne by those on minimum wage, but by those who brought the economy to this state."

"THE SCREAMS OF CHILDREN DYING UNDER BOMBS ARE IN OUR EARS"

At the end of his statement, Kılıç celebrated the independence day of the friendly and brotherly country Azerbaijan, sending a 'Gaza' message: "Today is the independence day of our friendly and brotherly country Azerbaijan.

```
We convey our congratulations with the wish that our Azerbaijani brothers live freely and independently as long as the world exists. Just like Azerbaijan, Karabakh, Nakhchivan, and Shusha; we live with the longing for the days when Gaza, Jerusalem, and Palestine will also be liberated from occupation, will be free, and will celebrate their independence. The screams of children burning alive among the flames reminiscent of hell, under Israeli bombs, echo in our ears. The place of the genocidal Netanyahu, the collaborator Trump, and the sycophantic princes and kings in this hell is undoubtedly at the head table. "Long live hell for the oppressors!"
