In the auction held in January for the season opening, shiitake mushrooms from the Noto Peninsula were sold at record prices. Especially the "nototemari" mushrooms, which meet the criteria of having an 8-centimeter cap width and 3-centimeter thickness, were sold in a batch of 6 for 450,000 yen, which is approximately 103,474 TL. One of them was sold for 17,245 TL.
