Due to the transfer of contributions, a person who was unable to retire under the EYT (Early Retirement) framework was able to retire with the intervention of the Public Ombudsman Institution and received their retroactive salary. The Social Security Institution (SGK) initiated the individual's retirement procedures based on the guidance of the Ombudsman.

Due to the calculation of premium transfer, a person who could not retire under the scope of the Retirement Age Victims (EYT) was retired after the intervention of the Public Ombudsman Institution (KDK) and received their retroactive salary.

According to KDK's amicable solution decision, a person who applied to retire under EYT in 2023 was notified that they could not be granted an old-age pension due to not completing the required number of premium days under the 4/b category approximately 20 months later.

ALL ACCUMULATED PENSIONS HAVE BEEN DEPOSITED INTO THE ACCOUNT

The person stated that they have been continuously insured under the 4/a category since 2005 and that they were not informed by the Social Security Institution (SGK) regarding the period they were insured under the 4/b category. They applied to KDK for the old-age pension to be granted under the 4/a category by reviewing the premium transfer processes. KDK, which examined the application, contacted SGK to meet the applicant's request. SGK notified KDK that the applicant's retirement process had been initiated and that all accumulated pensions had been deposited into the applicant's bank account.
