TRABZONSPOR'S HALFTIME REACTION
Trabzonspor Club reacted to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Central Referees Committee. In a post made on the club's social media account during halftime of the match against Çaykur Rizespor in the 3rd week of the Ziraat Turkey Cup, it was stated, "The Central Referees Committee has exhausted its credibility."
"In Turkish football, the spear cannot fit into the sack. At this point, it has become clear how 'inadequate' and 'malicious' local referees are. As Trabzonspor Club, we raised the issue that the current situation would create a 'national security' problem on December 17, 2024. The refereeing errors experienced and the subsequent reactions from clubs led to a match completed with 40,000 security personnel in Istanbul. These moments have gone down in history as one of the clearest images of the refereeing institution completely going off the rails and becoming uncontrollable. The main responsible party for all this disgrace, the Central Referees Committee, has lost its seriousness and reliability, and has exhausted its credibility. We have a clear call to the President of the Turkish Football Federation, Mr. İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu, for the sake of our country's football. Take responsibility regarding the Central Referees Committee and urgently take the necessary steps regarding this 'suspicious' institution. Tomorrow will be too late!"
