The return of Bulgarian citizens who came to Edirne for New Year's shopping has locked the border gates; kilometers of vehicle queues formed at Kapıkule and Kapitan Andreevo.

It has been reported that Bulgarian citizens have preferred Edirne for shopping again this year due to the variety of products and price advantages in Turkey.
