In the car accident that occurred in the village of Üyüklütatar in Edirne, 18-year-old İsa Özer lost his life. Friends who witnessed the accident fled the scene to inform the villagers. The gendarmerie has initiated an investigation to identify the fleeing friends.
In Edirne, a search has been initiated for the friends who left their 18-year-old friend, who died after falling into an irrigation canal, at the scene and fled. The car with license plate 16 APR 045, driven by 18-year-old İsa Özer, plunged into the irrigation canal after the driver lost control of the steering wheel due to heavy fog. Friends of İsa, who were in another car, fled the scene after telling the villagers that an accident had occurred.
SEARCH INITIATED FOR THE FLEEING FRIENDS OF THE UNFORTUNATE YOUNG MAN
Upon receiving the notification, AFAD and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene, and they entered the irrigation canal by boat to retrieve İsa Özer's lifeless body from the vehicle. After an examination at the scene, Özer's body was taken to the morgue of Trakya University Medical Faculty Hospital for an autopsy. The gendarmerie has launched a comprehensive investigation to identify the friends who fled the scene and to look into the incident.
