Eser stated, "Our door was always open during the day. This bookstore was opened about 40 years ago for citizens to bring waste paper and recycle it. Later, we noticed that there were books among the paper and cardboard. We wanted to make these read books available to everyone instead of being discarded, so we opened this place. However, this last incident seemed very interesting to us. This is the third time books have been stolen since we opened this place. I wish they had asked us; we would have given it. After all, anyone can take books for free if they want," he said. The bookstore officials stated that they did not inform the police due to the value of the stolen books.
