Chilling details have emerged regarding baby Aren, who is alleged to have been brutally beaten by his mother's boyfriend in Denizli. While the mother’s boyfriend has been taken into custody, it has been claimed that baby Aren was attempted to be burned, bitten, and that bruises were caused by being thrown against a wall. After completing trauma treatment, baby Aren is scheduled to undergo surgery next week.
A heartbreaking incident occurred in Aşağımahalle, a neighborhood in the Sarayköy district of Denizli. S.B.D, who recently divorced her husband, brought her 2-year-old son Aren, who had bruises on his head, face, back, and various parts of his body, to Sarayköy State Hospital.
THE MOTHER'S BOYFRIEND BEAT HIM TO DEATH
After hospital staff suspected the bruises on the baby, whose right eye was completely swollen shut and had a wound on his right arm, they reported the situation to the police, prompting an investigation. In her statement regarding the matter, mother S.B.D claimed that her son was beaten by her boyfriend S.D., with whom she lived.
HE WILL UNDERGO SURGERY AFTER TRAUMA TREATMENT
Due to the trauma caused by the blows he received, baby Aren was transferred by ambulance to Pamukkale University Hospital after the initial treatment at Sarayköy State Hospital, as his life was still in danger. It was decided that the baby would undergo surgery for his closed right eye, and he would be discharged and taken into state custody after his treatment. It was learned that the baby would have surgery on his eye next week after completing his trauma treatment.
THEY TRIED TO BURN THE BABY
Following the hospitalization of the 2-year-old baby due to the beating, an investigation was launched, and mother S.B.D. and her boyfriend S.D. were taken into custody. While the suspects were taken to the police station for questioning, it was alleged that the physically abused baby was attempted to be burned, bitten, and that the bruises were caused by being thrown against a wall.
STATEMENT FROM THE MINISTRY OF FAMILY
In a statement made by the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, which intervened to protect the baby who was subjected to violence and became part of the judicial process, it was stated, "With the reflection of the incident to the security units, our provincial directorate teams have promptly taken action. The treatment process of our child, who is the subject of the news, is ongoing in the hospital. After the treatment process, our child will be taken into state custody. As a ministry, we will be closely monitoring the legal process to ensure that our child’s rights are pursued in court and that the relevant individuals receive the heaviest penalties."
