Thousands Stranded Homeless And Helpless After Flood

Thousands are left homeless in J&K floods. Life will never be the same for them. They have lost everything and are bound to stay in tents.

The floods, triggered by incessant rain that left the region’s rivers in waves, have left hundreds dead besides rendering hundreds of thousands homeless and causing massive damage to infrastructure and property.

Assessing the damage caused by the floods and the needs of the people and rebuilding infrastructure, homes and lives, is a tough task and will require support and cooperation from all quarters.
