Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf warned the U.S., stating, "If they attempt to attack Iran, it will be like a spark thrown into a powder keg, igniting the entire region. At that point, neither their military bases nor their allies will be safe."
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf, spoke in the area where Friday prayers were held after the World Quds Day march held in the capital, Tehran.
"WHAT IS HAPPENING IN PALESTINE WILL REMAIN AS A SHAMEFUL DOCUMENT CARVED ON THE FOREHEAD OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION" Speaker Qalibaf stated that the Palestinian issue concerns not only the Islamic world but all of humanity, saying, "This process has turned into a great oppression with the displacement of the Palestinian people, genocide, imprisonment, assassination, and torture. This situation is a sign of the great contradiction between the words and actions of Western society. The events that have occurred will remain as a shameful document carved on the forehead of Western civilization."
"THE ZIONIST REGIME CANNOT STAND WITHOUT FOREIGN SUPPORT" Emphasizing that the resistance front is fighting not only against Israel but also against the global powers that support it, Qalibaf stated, "If they were only facing the Zionist regime, this regime could not stand for even a week. Israel is a structure that does not possess internal strength and needs to be sustained. In fact, the Zionist regime continues to exist as a massacre machine in the region, supported by global powers, especially the United States, through provided weapons, intelligence, and political support."
"A NEGOTIATION CONDUCTED UNDER THREAT IS ACTUALLY AN ATTEMPT AT COERCION AND IMPOSITION" Qalibaf pointed out that the U.S. aims to leave Iran defenseless and unarmed through its negotiation rhetoric, stating, "A negotiation conducted under threat is actually an attempt at coercion and imposition. The U.S. not only disregards the economic rights of the Iranian people but also uses the negotiation rhetoric to take away our defense capability. However, our nation knows very well that a negotiation in which the enemy tries to forcefully impose its demands is the beginning of war. No conscious and brave nation would accept such an imposition."
Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf "THE ATTITUDE OF THE U.S. PRESIDENT IS PURELY BULLYING" Referring to the letter written by U.S. President Donald Trump to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Qalibaf stated, "There is no concrete proposal regarding the lifting of sanctions in the letter. The attitude of the U.S. President is purely bullying. He addresses even his allies in a condescending master-slave relationship. However, the Iranian people can neither be deceived nor forced to accept anything."
MESSAGE TO THE U.S.: "IF YOU ATTEMPT TO ATTACK IRAN, YOUR BASES WILL BECOME TARGETS" Warning the U.S., Qalibaf said, "We stand firm in the field with the support of our people, our wise leader, and the defense power of our always-ready armed forces, and we are not afraid of any threat. The Americans are also well aware of their own vulnerability. If they attempt to attack Iran, it will be like a spark thrown into a powder keg, igniting the entire region. At that time, neither their military bases nor their allies will be safe."
TRUMP SAID, "IF IRAN DOES NOT ENTER NEGOTIATIONS, IT WILL BE VERY BAD FOR THEM" U.S. President Donald Trump stated in an interview with Fox Business that he sent a letter to Iranian religious leader Ali Khamenei. In the interview, Trump mentioned that he wanted to negotiate a nuclear agreement with Iran, saying, "I said I hope you negotiate because it would be much better for Iran. The other alternative is that we have to do something. Because you cannot allow another nuclear weapon." Trump also referred to the possibility of Iran not negotiating, stating, "If Iran does not enter negotiations, it will be very bad for them. Iran should not have nuclear weapons. Other options are available."
Trump's letter was conveyed to Khamenei by Anwar Gargash, an advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced yesterday that the response to Trump's letter was conveyed through Oman on March 26, Wednesday.
