A military funeral, attended by top commanders, politicians and relatives was held for two pilots who were killed in 2nd warplane crash during training exercises in last ten days, was held in Turkish western province of Eskişehir on Friday.
The funeral ceremony for military air pilots Staff Captain Mustafa Delikanlı and Staff Captain Mustafa Tanış who lost their lives at a Turkish Air Force F-4 crash in the Turkish central province of Konya on Thursday morning, was held at the Combatant Air Unit Air Defense Command’s 1st Main Jet Base in Eskişehir. Chief of Staff Gen. Necdet Özel, air force commanders, martyred pilots’ family members and friends aiming to pay their farewell to pilots, were ready at the ceremony site. Civilian and military officials gave their condolences to the families of victims after the ceremony. Colleagues and friends of martyrs tried to console sorrowful families at the ceremony site.
Meanwhile, Turkey lost six pilots and three warplanes in last ten days during training flights.
