Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) conducted the modernization of 41 F-16 warplanes belonging to Pakistani Air Forces.

The company delivered the last four fighter jets to Pakistani pilots with a ceremony on Tuesday in Ankara.

TAI was selected as the contractor company to modernize 41 F-16 fighter jets through a tender which was opened by Pakistani Air Forces in 2009. The company received the first party of aircrafts just after the contract was signed with Pakistani Defense Ministry on June 29 2009.

The last four aircrafts out of 41 were delivered to Pakistani pilots in a TAI facility in Ankara during the ceremony where the company's Board Chairman Yalçın Kaya, General of Pakistani Air Forces Sohail Aman and Pakistan's Ambassador to Ankara Muhammad Haroon were ready.

At the end of the ceremony, Turkish and Pakistani officials signed the plaque which was prepared in memory of the completion of the project.
