Turkey Fortifies Its Borderline With Syria By Shipping Military Vehicles

As the tension and clashes are tend to increase between Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Syria, Turkish Military Forces has increased border fortification by shipping military vehicle along the Turkish-Syrian border.

Bounding to the southwestern Turkish province Kilis, sharing a long border line with Syria, a large part of military vehicles were dispatched from Aksu Military post of Kahramanmaraş’s 5th Armored Brigade Assistant Commandership.

15 tanks, 15 armored personnel carriers were dispatched from Aksu Military post of Kahramanmaraş’s 5th Armored Brigade Assistant Commandership to the Kilis. It is expected that the military vehicles to be deployed borderline between Kilis’ Öncüpınar Border Gate and Elbeyli District.

During the shipment it is also seen that tight security prevention is being implemented around the convoy.
