Five people, including the Turkish Aeronautical Association president Osman Yildirim, have been arrested Friday over allegations of corruption and money laundering.
The prosecutor Ali Alper Saylan, from the Ankara chief public prosecutor's trafficking investigation and financial crimes bureau, had requested that seven of 10 previously detained on Tuesday be arrested.
The duty magistrate judge decided to arrest five of them and release two on condition of judicial control. The two suspects must appear once a week to the police station.
