Turkish athlete Ilke Ozyuksel claimed Friday her first world champion title in modern pentathlon at the Youth A World Championships, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
According to the International Modern Pentathlon Union's (UIPM) official website, She came first in the women's category with 1065 points.
Egyptian Haydy Morsy with 1061 points and Hungarian Ana Toth with 1053 points followed Ozyuksel.
The head of Turkey's Modern Pentathlon Federation Yasar Aksin said this was the first time Turkey won a title in modern pentathlon.
